📋 Description

• Own the integrity, accuracy, compliance, and audit-readiness of financial reporting across all entities • Own multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation and controls around the monthly close • Document internal controls and implement defensible revenue recognition • Drive the company toward readiness for an external audit • Design and oversee the QuickBooks-to-NetSuite or equivalent ERP migration • Establish accounting policies, internal controls, and process documentation • Own multi-jurisdiction statutory compliance and international tax • Lead transfer pricing and tracking of IP flows across entities with external advisors • Manage relationships with banks, CPA firms, auditors, and finance and accounting vendors • Lead and develop a lean controllership team • Report to the CFO and collaborate with the wider leadership team

🎯 Requirements

• Senior experience at a B2B SaaS or comparable technology company • Experience building or materially upgrading an accounting function • Big Four or comparable background • Roughly 10+ years in audit and controls • ACCA or CPA qualification preferred • Experience preparing for or managing an external audit of consolidated entities • Experience leading or centrally contributing to a finance systems or ERP upgrade • Experience managing books across multiple countries, entities, and currencies • Comfort with international tax, transfer pricing, multi-jurisdiction compliance, and bridging GAAP and IFRS • European finance experience is a strong plus, including VAT and local statutory regimes • Experience building controls, documentation, and consolidation discipline • Comfort working in an async-first, globally distributed environment • Clear written communication • Bonus: post-acquisition finance team integration experience • Bonus: designing and implementing AI-assisted finance workflows or automations • Bonus: familiarity with SaaS metrics including NDR, GRR, and deferred revenue
