📋 Description

• Drive high-impact projects end to end, from vague business questions to shipped outcomes • Design and assess experiments, including A/B tests and alternative pre/post or quasi-experimental approaches • Analyse experiments honestly, including unsuccessful or inconclusive results • Make recommendations based on evidence rather than only producing dashboards • Define the metrics the company steers by and assess how business levers impact goals • Build ETL/ELT transformations and curated datasets for business use cases • Support migration to dbt • Help build AI Analyst, an internal MCP enabling stakeholders to self-serve data answers • Partner with product, marketing, R&D and engineering • Manage expectations and flag delays early with reasons and revised dates

🎯 Requirements

• Solid senior-level experience as a data analyst in SaaS • Experience modelling NDR, expansion, contraction and MRR • Experience designing, sizing and analysing A/B tests • Ability to use pre/post or quasi-experimental methods when clean tests are not possible • Ability to make evidence-based recommendations and communicate confidence clearly • Expert SQL • Python for analytical work SQL cannot do • Comfort with Looker or a close equivalent • Strong data modelling and analytics engineering experience • Real dbt experience • Genuine appetite for AI and current use of AI in workflow • Generalist range across product, marketing, R&D and revenue questions • Ability to drive projects autonomously in a lean remote team • Data science experience, including building ML models and deploying them to production, is a bonus • Principal or staff-level experience is a bonus
