📋 Description

• Assist with vulnerability management activities, including reviewing scan results and helping validate findings • Support triage of security findings from internal tools and external sources • Help analyze logs and alerts from SIEM systems to identify potential security issues • Participate in basic security incident investigations and documentation • Assist in implementing and improving security controls across AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure • Support efforts to improve detection capabilities and monitoring coverage • Learn and contribute to securing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows • Work with engineering teams to understand and help address security issues • Gain hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure, applications, and developer workflows • Collaborate with senior engineers to investigate issues, improve security visibility, and build foundational security capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, or a related field • Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and security fundamentals • Familiarity with Linux and command-line tools • Interest in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and infrastructure systems • Basic knowledge of common security concepts (e.g., vulnerabilities, authentication, OWASP Top 10) • Exposure to programming or scripting (Python, Go, or Bash) • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication. • Familiarity with containers (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts • Exposure to logging, monitoring, or SIEM tools • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines • Interest in areas like cloud security, infrastructure security, or detection engineering
