📋 Description

• Partner with product managers and engineers to design user-friendly features across Sezzle’s platforms • Create wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and interaction flows • Contribute to the design system by building and documenting reusable components in Figma • Ensure consistency of design and UI patterns, language, and branding across product components • Participate in user research and testing • Present design work and rationale to the design team and stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions • Explore illustration, motion design, and micro-interactions • Design user-centric web and mobile experiences that improve consumers’ shopping journeys

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field • Some hands-on UI/UX or product design experience through internships, coursework, freelance, or personal projects • Strong communication skills in English • Proficiency in Figma for interface design and prototyping • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required • Comfort leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication • Familiarity with modern product design trends and basic design principles • Experience designing for web or mobile • Curiosity about testing and validating designs with users • Passion for accessible and inclusive experiences • Understanding of scalable UI systems, including color and typography tokens and components • Experience creating and updating UI components in Figma • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality • Clear communication and willingness to receive feedback • Portfolio containing 3–4 best digital design projects, with problem and requirements explanation and design process • Experience with HTML/CSS/React is a plus, not a requirement • Preferred: experience with animation or motion tools such as After Effects, Lottie, or Rive • Preferred: interest in interactive components, motion-enhanced micro-interactions, and AI-assisted design
