📋 Description

• Lead and operate vulnerability management across infrastructure, platforms, and applications • Perform internal scans, dependency analysis, and external finding validation • Drive vulnerability remediation with engineering teams and verify fixes • Build, operate, and mature SIEM/XDR capabilities • Manage log ingestion, detection rule development, alert tuning, and investigation workflows • Investigate and respond to cloud and application security incidents • Perform root cause analysis and drive long-term fixes • Design detection strategies for suspicious activity and data exfiltration • Lead threat modeling exercises and security design reviews • Design, secure, and improve AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure • Drive infrastructure and CI/CD hardening initiatives • Implement dependency and container supply chain risk detection and controls • Partner with engineering teams to improve secure development and deployment practices • Support security controls aligned with PCI DSS, SOC 2, and other compliance requirements • Develop automation, including AI where appropriate, for security operations, detection, and response • Triage and validate external security findings and coordinate remediation

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in security, software, or infrastructure engineering • Hands-on experience securing cloud-based production systems • Experience contributing to threat modeling and security design reviews • Strong hands-on vulnerability management experience, including scanning, triage, validation, remediation coordination, and verification • Experience with SIEM platforms such as Wazuh, Splunk, or ELK • Experience triaging vulnerability scanner and bug bounty findings • Strong knowledge of AWS, Linux, and Kubernetes infrastructure • Experience with infrastructure security, CI/CD hardening, and software supply chain risk mitigation • Experience with container and dependency security tools such as Snyk, Trivy, or Grype • Ability to investigate issues using logs, cloud tooling, and system-level data • Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies, including OWASP and SANS • Working knowledge of PCI DSS and SOC 2 • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required • Comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication
