📋 Description

• Design software applications and features in Golang and React • Build distributed architecture solutions that scale while maintaining consistency • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design market-winning products • Develop and collect metrics to drive continuous improvement • Deliver high-quality, tested features adhering to reporting standards • Lead small development teams as needed to bring projects to market • Mentor engineering teammates • Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams • Provide scalable and innovative solutions to internal and customer problems • Iterate based on feedback from internal and external users

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience • Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on the path forward • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go preferably, and Java, Python, or a similar language • Experience working in a distributed, cloud-based architecture • Experience with transactional outboxes or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka • BS in Computer Science or similar degree • Experience with SQL-based RDBMS through an ORM tool • Familiarity with observability platforms such as Prometheus, NewRelic, or Datadog • DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS • Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications • Record of bringing products to market and prioritizing solutions based on stakeholder/customer feedback • High standards for software quality and defect prevention • Ability to challenge decisions respectfully and commit to decisions once made
