📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deliver new backend-focused software features • Design software applications and features in Golang and React • Help build distributed architecture and create scalable, consistent solutions • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design market-winning products • Develop and collect metrics to drive continuous product improvement • Deliver high-quality, testable features adhering to reporting standards • Lead small development teams as needed to bring projects to market • Mentor engineering teammates and help elevate their skills • Partner with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams • Address internal and customer problems and iterate based on feedback

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience • Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on the path forward • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go (preferably), Java, Python, or a similar language • Experience working in distributed, cloud-based architecture, including transactional outboxes or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; comfort leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • Preferred: experience with SQL-based RDBMS through an ORM tool • Preferred: observability platforms such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog • Preferred: DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines • Preferred: familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS • Preferred: history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications • Preferred: record of bringing products to market and prioritizing improvements based on stakeholder/customer feedback • High standards, willingness to challenge convention, decisive action, trust-building, respectful disagreement, commitment, and results orientation
