📋 Description

• Perform detailed consumption and cost analyses on AWS and Azure, identifying optimization opportunities and eliminating waste. • Develop and refine FinOps governance models aligned with the FinOps Foundation Framework. • Propose AWS and Azure architectures optimized for cost, performance, and resilience, considering the use of Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Spot Instances. • Configure and manage monitoring and billing tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, AWS Cost & Usage Reports, and AWS CloudWatch. • Collaborate with business, finance, and technology teams to create cloud consumption forecasts and budgets. • Implement and automate tagging, chargeback, and showback mechanisms to ensure traceability and correct cost allocation. • Prepare executive reports and dashboards with financial and technical insights into the AWS and Azure environments. • Promote FinOps culture across the organization through workshops, training, and dissemination of best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in FinOps applied to AWS. • Strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudFront, among others). • Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and cost management tools. • Knowledge of FinOps applied to Azure, including VMs, VMSS, Azure Databases and SQL, Application Gateway, Front Door, and Cost Management. • Advanced knowledge of cloud architecture and designing resilient, scalable solutions. • Familiarity with automation and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK). • Understanding of cloud financial metrics such as Cost Allocation, Unit Economics, Forecasting, and Budget Tracking. • Ability to interpret CUR (Cost and Usage Report) and derive actionable insights. • Scripting or query skills (Python, PowerShell, Athena, or SQL) for extracting and analyzing cost data. • Experience with Power BI, QuickSight, or Looker Studio for building FinOps dashboards.
