📋 Description

• Design and oversee modern architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric) in multicloud environments, creating repeatable reference architectures for clients. • Assess the cost-benefit of large-scale ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric) versus hybrid/Open Source solutions (Spark, Doris, Airflow), optimizing costs and interoperability. • Structure evolutionary frameworks, catalogs, lineage and business roles (Data Owners/Stewards), preparing data for AI without adding bureaucratic overhead. • Prepare structured ecosystems (SAP, ERPs, transactional databases) and unstructured data for integration with LLMs, RAG and generative AI solutions. • Guide engineering teams, establishing playbooks, best practices in DataOps/MLOps, engineering pipelines and a culture of quality. • Work with directors and C-level executives, translating technical decisions into financial impact, reduced cybersecurity risk and productivity gains.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership, consulting or senior data/AI architecture roles on enterprise projects. • Strong cloud and big data expertise: Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake), Snowflake, Azure Synapse/Fabric, AWS Redshift/Glue or GCP BigQuery. • Hybrid/Open Source perspective: Spark, Airflow, OpenMetadata, dbt and Trino. • Knowledge of governance and enterprise integration: Purview, Collibra, Alation, Apache Atlas, with integration to SAP and ServiceNow. • Fundamentals of AI and MLOps: preparing and exposing data for models, vectorization, embeddings and RAG. • Strategic communication skills with engineering, cybersecurity and business decision-makers. • Official certifications are valued differentiators: Databricks Certified Professional, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Data Analytics or Snowflake Pro. • Experience in technology consultancies, system integrators or IT service management (ITSM) is a plus. • Experience creating playbooks and Data Operating Models from scratch is a plus.
