• Apply occupational health and safety laws, rules, and guidelines • Advise, assist, and participate in the construction site management team’s prevention activities • Act as a health and safety subject-matter expert • Contribute to building the capabilities of project stakeholders, including external suppliers • Carry out the daily activities assigned to site safety teams • Work on power plant, substation, and transmission line construction sites
• Must hold the construction site health and safety coordinator card issued by CNESST • Knowledge of civil works, excavation, lifting operations, and work at height • Knowledge of electrical hazards and the substation work code • Extensive knowledge of critical hazards, including work at height, energy sources, moving vehicles, and lifting operations • Technological skills and capabilities to enter daily information • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools, particularly Teams and Outlook • Training related to the specific requirements of hydroelectric facilities is an asset • Previous work experience with Hydro-Québec is an asset • CDST 7th Central training is an asset • Candidates applying for jobs in Canada must be authorized to work in Canada
