📋 Description

• Development and ownership of detailed financial models, valuations, and investment analyses. • Comprehensive due diligence on potential acquisitions, including financial, operational, and strategic assessments. • Presentations (written and verbal) of findings and recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders. • Coordination of due diligence workstreams across internal teams and external advisors (legal, accounting, HR, technology, etc.) • Manage structured documentation and process tracking across multiple active transactions • Scalable KPI and analytics reporting frameworks to support portfolio company performance tracking • Conduct market and competitive research to inform evaluation of target companies • Support the integration of newly acquired companies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives during the transition process • Leverage and enhance business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx) to improve financial and operational insights • Create and maintain structured diligence reports, trackers, and supporting documentation for active deals • Manage multiple deal processes simultaneously in a fast paced, high growth environment • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in M&A and managed services

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in private equity, accounting / financial due diligence, investment banking, management consulting, or a similar role. • Expert in conducting financial statement analysis and interpreting complex financial and operational data. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively and be a team player in a team-oriented environment. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Embody Shield’s core values • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • **Preferred** • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. • Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools. • CPA or advanced degree in accounting.
