📋 Description

• Ensure that as we grow, every customer, shopper, and retailer interaction is seamless and safe. • Architect the technical health of our anti-fraud product. • Lead engineering efforts to design and implement complex, scalable risk assessment systems. • Act as a strategic lead with cross-functional teams to ensure systematic prevention of fraud and abuse. • Directly contribute to protecting customer, shopper, and business data from exfiltration. • Architect, build, and deploy mission critical APIs and services while ensuring high code quality, security, and scalability. • Create low latency integrations that detect and address realtime fraud and abuse. • Collaborate with cross functional teams and lead architectural design reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in backend engineering • Expert in backend languages such as Golang, Javascript, or Python • Proven expertise in API development and integrations • Extensive experience with version control tools such as Git and GitHub • Strong skills in data storage, retrieval, and analysis using PostgreSQL and Snowflake • Proven experience in working with 3rd party vendor integrations • Experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka or AWS SNS/SQS • Experience with observability tools such as DataDog, Grafana, and Prometheus • Expert at identifying and optimizing inefficient code, database queries, and network requests.
