📋 Description

• The Principal Cyber Security Engineer must have cyber security engineering experience building and securing applications at an Individual Contributor Level. • Understand all phases of application and service release lifecycle as part of the DevSecOps methodology. • Know one or more modern programming languages, have a cyber security background on the cloud, understand computer science fundamentals either through education or experience. • Have worked as part of an Agile team to deliver enterprise software solutions across an organization. • Utilize DevSecOps methodology to successfully secure Platform features/capabilities that are deployed onto a Hybrid infrastructure consisting of onprem and commercial cloud environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent industry experience. • One-plus (1+) years of experience developing containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm, etc. • Three-plus (3+) years of experience with agile and lean software development philosophies. • One-plus (1+) years of experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch etc. • Two-plus (2+) years of demonstrated experience with modern version control systems such as Git, Subversion, Mercurial, etc. • Clearable to a SECRET or above security clearance • CompTIA Security+ CE or other DoD 8570 IAT II certification, within 90 days • Three-plus (3+) years of experience developing production software leveraging modern languages (including: Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, etc.) • Five-plus (5+) years of experience with Terraform, SIEM, AWS, Single Sign On (SSO), IDP such as Okta, SAML, OIDC. • Five-plus (5+) years of experience in managing multiple AWS environments (VPCs) firewalls, IAM, GuardDuty, Cloud Trail, WAF such as Signal Sign On)
