📋 Description

• Promote a software engineering culture, knowledge sharing and engagement • Be the Domain Expert for the area you work in • Develop robust, scalable backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot. • Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to production delivery. • Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automation and quality in deliveries. • Perform unit, integration and end-to-end (E2E) testing, promoting reliability and quality practices. • Integrate and manage relational databases, and work with Kafka and its connectors. • Work with JPA/Hibernate and Kubernetes for application orchestration. • Ensure application observability using metrics, logs and monitoring to continuously improve operations. • Apply and promote software resilience best practices, ensuring fault tolerance and high availability. • Monitor technical indicators, perform analyses and propose data-driven actions. • Collaborate with other teams, promoting alignment and clear communication. • Identify and address short-, medium- and long-term technical evolutions. • Propose innovative solutions for technical and business challenges. • Document architecture and technical decisions, facilitating understanding and evolution of solutions. • Contribute to the technical development of other engineers on the team. • Seek and apply feedback for continuous improvement, maintaining a collaborative and proactive attitude. • Participate in effort estimation for software development. • Participate in the UPSTREAM process as a technical reference. • Orchestrate code reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development. • Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot. • Hands-on experience with relational databases. • Proven experience with unit, integration and E2E testing. • Knowledge of Kafka / Kafka Connectors. • Experience with Maven / Gradle. • Experience with JPA / Hibernate. • Experience with Kubernetes. • Proactivity and good communication skills. • Ability to make collaborative decisions considering overall impact. • Experience with Prometheus. • Knowledge of in-memory databases and NoSQL. • Experience in backend application architecture. • Knowledge of security by design for applications. • Advanced experience in CI/CD. • Ability to document architecture (diagrams). • Experience with performance testing. • Cooperative and proactive profile. • Experience mentoring and developing other software engineers.
