📋 Description

• Own and maintain revenue recognition policies and procedures • Prepare and review monthly revenue journal entries • Ensure accurate and timely recording of variable consideration • Manage accounting for costs related to revenue-generating activities • Serve as an active contributor to the monthly and quarterly close process • Prepare and maintain bad debt reserve calculations • Reconcile intercompany accounts • Support additional general ledger responsibilities • Partner with external auditors • Collaborate with teams to resolve customer accounting questions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Deep working knowledge of ASC 606 • Hands-on experience with revenue accounting • Solid understanding of ASC 340-40 contract cost accounting • Experience with bad debt reserve methodologies • Advanced Excel skills • Proficiency in a major ERP system • CPA preferred
