📋 Description

• Design and build Agora's internal platform for product teams • Build reusable abstractions, internal services, developer tooling, and infrastructure primitives • Own the TypeScript Pulumi codebase, Kubernetes-based runtime environments, and monitoring stack • Architect scalable systems and enforce engineering standards through code • Continuously improve developer experience through platform capabilities • Support product teams in shipping software with confidence, reliability, and speed • Participate in the interview process, including screening, take-home challenge, technical, and behavioral interviews

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience, including substantial work in Infrastructure and Cloud domains • Strong programming skills in TypeScript or another strictly typed language • Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals: availability, consistency, observability, and fault tolerance • Experience designing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code systems • Deep understanding of AWS architecture • Experience designing, operating, and scaling Kubernetes workloads • Proven ability to build reusable systems and abstractions rather than one-off scripts • Majority overlap with ET business hours • Physical location in Argentina or Uruguay • Preferred: experience defining SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and incident tooling • Preferred: experience improving observability practices, alerts, operational dashboards, and business metrics • Preferred: familiarity with GitOps patterns and deployment automation technologies • Preferred: expertise in DevEx or Developer Productivity • Preferred: experience building Internal Development Platforms with self-service and golden paths • Preferred: experience maintaining and operating production-grade systems and on-call rotations
