• Provide essential services to elderly residents in their own homes in Grafton • Provide wound, stoma and bowel care • Provide catheter care, including IDC for males and females and SPC • Apply advanced clinical assessment skills for chronic disease management • Administer medications and injections • Perform an optimum standard of nursing care for clients • Use clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills to provide quality care • Work independently in the community while receiving team support
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing • 2+ years post-graduate experience with broad experience in general nursing • Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations • Genuine interest in working in the community and with the aged population • Strong experience in wound and catheter care, and chronic disease management • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with families and other clinicians • Australian driver's licence • National Police check prior to commencement • Work Rights check prior to commencement • Confirmation of COVID-19 vaccination status prior to commencement • Functional fitness assessment prior to commencement
