📋 Description

• Provide home help services including housekeeping, bed-making, floor cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping • Provide personal care including getting clients out of bed, showering and dressing • Assist clients with medications, mobility and therapy goals • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia • Provide social and emotional support • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments • Provide respite for family carers • Work across Port Stephens and surrounding suburbs

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 months’ experience in a similar professional role • Cert 3 in Individual Support – Aged Care or Ageing & Disability • Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle • USI Number required • Ability to work independently and solve everyday problems • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families • Prior to commencement: Statutory Declaration, National Police check, Working Rights check and pre-employment functional assessment
