📋 Description
• Provide home help services including general housekeeping and making beds • Clean, mop and vacuum floors • Wash, fold and iron laundry • Prepare meals and complete grocery shopping • Assist clients out of bed, with showering and dressing • Assist clients to take medications • Support mobility and therapy goals • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia • Provide social and emotional support • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments • Give family carers breaks or opportunities to do other things • Work independently, find solutions to everyday problems, and seek manager assistance when needed • Deliver safe, personal, connected and effective care to aged care clients in their homes
🎯 Requirements
• Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role • Experience with personal care • Manual handling experience • Hoist training • Medication experience • Valid Australian Driver's Licence • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle • Ability to work independently and solve everyday problems • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families • Ability to provide excellent service • Prior to commencement, complete a Statutory Declaration, National Police check, Working Rights check and pre-employment functional assessment • Cert 3 is not required
