• Providing our aged care clients with home help services such as general housekeeping and making beds • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors • Washing, folding and ironing laundry • Meal preparation and grocery shopping • Providing personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day • Assisting clients to take their medications • Assisting with mobility and therapy goals • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia • Providing social and emotional support • Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
• A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle • Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role • Experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.
• Guaranteed hours and shifts in Hornsby Area • Award rate $35.71 per hour + Super + Paid KM's • Employee benefits program + salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free each year • Accelerated learning programs to gain your professional qualifications (Cert 3) • Paid CPR and First Aid courses.
