📋 Description

• Develop and maintain pipeline tools for environment artists and technical artists, streamlining asset creation, integration, and validation. • Collaborate closely with engineers, environment artists, and design teams to identify needs and translate them into technical solutions. • Contribute to the improvement of artistic workflows and processes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and ease of use across the team. • Participate in profiling and performance optimization, including materials, shaders, and scene organization in Unreal Engine. • Support content integration by helping artists debug and resolve technical issues in day-to-day production. • Document tools and workflows, ensuring new features are clearly understood and accessible to the entire team. • Prototype new ideas that enhance efficiency, creative flexibility, or visual quality. • Take part in technical reviews and planning, providing feedback and insight on process bottlenecks and potential improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a technical artist in game development using Unreal Engine. • Proficiency in C++ for Unreal Engine or advanced Unreal Blueprint scripting used for tool development or automation. • Strong knowledge of game asset pipelines, including modeling, texturing, materials, and level integration. • Ability to balance artistic needs with technical constraints to ensure assets are both aesthetically pleasing and performant. • Strong collaborative problem-solving skills and clear communication across disciplines. • Curious, proactive, and motivated to learn from other technical artists and engineers to expand your technical and creative skill set. • Proven initiative: you identify areas for improvement and create the tools or workflows needed to address them.
