📋 Description

• The Senior SEO Strategist plays a vital role in maintaining and optimizing WordPress websites • Focuses on technical implementation, SEO best practices, and detailed documentation to support clients' digital success • Manage URL structures, 301 redirects, canonical tags, and XML sitemaps • Monitor and resolve crawl errors to ensure proper indexing of new and updated content • Conduct regular SEO health checks using tools like Ahrefs • Maintain detailed logs of technical issues, implementations, and progress • Lead the SEO and GEO portions of QBRs alongside the Client Success Advisor • Present audits and roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders without losing the technical substance • Track and document SEO issues, improvements, and implementations with accuracy • Contribute to SiteCare's SEO and GEO practice beyond your portfolio

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in SEO with measurable growth results across multiple sites, agency or in-house • Track record of owning organic strategy end to end: research, roadmap, execution, reporting • Hands-on WordPress experience at scale, including how plugin and theme choices affect SEO • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills • Client-facing experience presenting strategy and performance to non-technical stakeholders • Excellent attention to detail, especially in technical documentation. • Working knowledge of how LLMs surface and cite content, and what makes a page citation-worthy. • Experience monitoring brand and topic visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews. • Familiarity with at least one dedicated GEO tool (Ahrefs Brand Radar, Profound, Otterly, Peec AI, AthenaHQ, Scrunch, or similar). • Comfort with entity-based SEO, schema designed for AI extraction, and content patterns that earn citations.
