📋 Description
• Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries • Full ownership of the Portuguese payroll • Ensure data accuracy and legal compliance across payroll systems, providers, and internal processes • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and third-party providers to resolve complex payroll issues • Prepare and validate reports, audits, and statutory declarations in alignment with local regulations • Identify and lead process improvements and automation opportunities across payroll operations • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing your expertise and best practices
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in international payroll • Strong expertise in Portuguese payroll processes and legislation • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field • Experienced in working with payroll systems and HRIS tools (e.g., ADP, Workday) • Deep understanding of local labor laws, tax regulations, and social contributions in Portugal • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
