• Handle waste shipment notifications (particularly batteries) from application through completion for all our entities • Manage and monitor transboundary waste shipments in accordance with the Basel Convention, EU regulations, and national legislation • Coordinate downstream management with disposal and recycling partners • Manage notification processes in ZEDAL, including data entry, tracking, and documentation • Organize and oversee logistics and transport for waste shipments • Support and evaluate suppliers and service providers in waste management • Regularly update on changes to the Basel Convention, EU regulations, and national waste law • Carry out and coordinate international notification procedures • Advise internal departments and customers on legal and logistical requirements • Maintain and utilize digital platforms for waste shipments
• Completed degree in environmental science, waste management, logistics, or an equivalent qualification • Experience with notification procedures and communication with authorities • Experience with ZEDAL or similar systems is an advantage • Solid knowledge of international and national waste law • Strong organizational and communication skills • Excellent written and spoken German and English; additional languages are a plus
