• Support the Executive Director in operating the State office and its functions • Work with the Department of Education and school administrators to build SkillsUSA Texas membership • Plan and execute Fall Leadership and District Contests • Provide leadership and assistance to new chapter advisors • Collaborate with the Director of Championships for competitions and events • Maintain inventory of district supplies
• Minimum of five years of experience in the education field • Prior SkillsUSA work history is a plus • Experience in career and technical education (CTE) classroom and career technical student organizations (CTSOs) • Demonstrated accomplishment with critical stakeholders • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong planning and organizational skills • Flexibility and initiative • Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment • High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks with close attention to detail
• Mandatory attendance at the State Leadership and Skills Conference • Annual attendance to the District Coordinator convening before the beginning of the fiscal year
