📋 Description

• Managing day-to-day accounting activities across European entities, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close • Supporting accounting operations for the Netherlands headquarters and wider European business transactions • Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, VAT filings, tax reporting, and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions • Supporting intercompany reconciliations and group reporting activities • Booking accruals, payroll journals, and general accounting entries with accuracy and confidence • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury activities • Improving procurement workflows and internal approval processes • Contributing to the implementation and optimization of MS Dynamics modules and finance operations • Partnering with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and local stakeholders where needed • Identifying smarter ways of working and continuously improving financial controls and operational efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5–7 years of accounting experience, ideally within a start-up, scale-up, or fast-growing international business • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, hardware, or industrial environments is highly preferred • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance across international business structures • Experience with month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting • Knowledge of IFRS and experience working with Dutch and/or broader European financial reporting structures is a strong plus • Experience with MS Dynamics CRM/ERP is highly preferred • Someone who works independently, takes ownership, and doesn’t wait to be told where the fire is • A strong collaborator who can work seamlessly with cross-border teams and stakeholders • Strong communication skills in English • Experience working in an international environment is a strong plus • Requires availability to work from our Katowice office following its launch.
