📋 Description
• Develop and prepare detailed electrical service designs for commercial and industrial projects • Produce accurate and compliant one-line diagrams • Determine appropriate service locations and coordinate with utility providers as needed • Create draft surveys and supporting technical documentation • Ensure all designs adhere to NEC (National Electrical Code) and relevant local standards • Collaborate with utility companies, civil teams, and project managers to gather data, verify design feasibility, and resolve constraints • Update and maintain design files using AutoCAD and related drafting tools • Provide timely revisions based on feedback from engineering and construction teams.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience as an Electrical Designer, Drafter, or similar role (commercial/industrial experience strongly preferred) • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and related design/drafting software • Solid understanding of NEC codes, electrical service requirements, and applicable standards • Ability to coordinate effectively with utility companies and civil engineering teams • Experience producing one-line diagrams and service layout drawings • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality deliverables • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently under project deadlines.
