📋 Description

• Partner with Sales and Capture teams throughout the pre-sales lifecycle to support opportunity qualification, solution design, and technical alignment • Engage directly with customers to understand mission objectives, operational workflows, data environments, and technical constraints • Architect end-to-end solutions that integrate Slingshot products, data pipelines, analytics, and external systems • Develop and deliver technical briefings, solution overviews, demonstrations, and whiteboard sessions for customer and partner audiences • Translate customer requirements into clear technical inputs for Product and Engineering teams • Apply data science and systems engineering principles to evaluate solution feasibility, performance, and scalability • Support proposal development, including technical volumes, architectures, and solution narratives • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure proposed solutions are achievable, aligned to roadmap, and responsive to customer needs • Provide feedback from customer engagements to inform product strategy and technical prioritization • Perform other duties as assigned (less than 10%)

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in solutions architecture, systems engineering, data science, or related technical roles, or equivalent experience • Experience supporting customer-facing or pre-sales technical engagements • Strong understanding of system architectures, data flows, and analytical or software-driven solutions • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • Demonstrated experience collaborating across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience • Ability to travel up to 20–25%, or equivalent flexibility
