📋 Description

• As a Product Designer at Smartcat, you won’t just create UI — you’ll be a key strategic partner in an empowered product team. • You'll drive the future of user experience for a platform that reshapes how global content is created, localized, and delivered. • This is your chance to leave your mark on a $100B+ industry and help shape a category-defining product alongside an ambitious, highly skilled, and globally distributed team. • Conduct in-depth user research, run usability tests, and gather feedback to inform and validate design decisions. • Create wireframes, low-fidelity drafts, and interactive prototypes that bring design concepts to life. • Build and maintain a design system and style guide to ensure consistency and a seamless experience across the platform. • Deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile that engage and delight users. • Iterate rapidly based on user insights, feedback, and changing project needs. • Proactively explore and apply new tools and technologies — including AI — to improve design quality, speed, and user understanding. • Continuously evolve our design practices and bring fresh, creative approaches to problem-solving.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven Product Designer with a portfolio that sets the industry standard. • Expert-level skills in Figma. • Strong advocate for user-centered design and deep understanding of usability principles. • Ability to clearly communicate design decisions to both designers and non-designers. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. • Familiarity with UI animation, HTML, CSS, and front-end development is a plus. • Data-driven mindset with the ability to support design choices with metrics and research. • Experience using AI tools to accelerate design, prototyping, or research is a plus. • Curiosity and enthusiasm for experimenting with new tools and technologies, especially AI. • High integrity and full commitment to quality and outcomes. • Growth-oriented, product-focused mindset. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong sense of ownership. • Receptive to feedback and open to diverse perspectives.
