📋 Description

• Plan, develop, and maintain customer-facing content for the Smartsheet Help Center and internal product documentation • Own documentation quality across the product knowledge base • Learn Smartsheet products, technologies, and features to document them accurately • Distill specifications and internal technical FAQs into targeted customer-facing content • Create technical Help Center articles, eLearning or video content, internal documentation, and visual aids • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure technical accuracy • Track and report project assignments and schedules while meeting deadlines • Use AI tools to accelerate production, improve quality, and scale output • Implement content governance tools and improve documentation processes • Contribute to templates, processes, and standards for scalable content production • Move content from draft documents into the content management system and publish it • Review change requests and customer feedback, then recommend and implement content changes • Support video production through scripting and recording • Maintain the Smartsheet Help and Learning style guide • Use Google Analytics data to plan and prioritize work • Optimize content for search discoverability

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience writing or editing content for a variety of audiences on the web • A BA in English, Technical Communication, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) • Basic understanding of and ability to use HTML formatting • Strong command of English language both oral and written (C1 and above) • Experience developing templates and processes for ensuring consistent delivery • Understanding of SEO and GEO best practices • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics to make impactful content decisions • Passion for technology and familiarity with the benefits and challenges of working on a SaaS product • Ability to distill technical jargon into clear, professional, customer-focused language • Familiarity with video content production, including scripting, screen recording, or light editing • Experience creating screenshots and/or visual diagrams; Photoshop or equivalent image compositing experience is a plus • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform basic project management and prioritization tasks • Experience moving documents from draft stage through formatting and publishing to a CMS • Experience using one or more content management systems; Drupal 9 or newer is a plus • Familiarity with AI tools in professional workflows, including custom AI configurations and connecting LLMs to external platforms • Familiarity with AI writing tools and interest in expanding AI use in content workflows • Smartsheet Product Certification preferred but not required • Must reside in Costa Rica
