📋 Description

• Troubleshoot, service, install, deploy, and repair Trace, X-Ray, CT X-Ray, and Cargo Inspection equipment at customer sites • Travel daily to locations in and around the Nashville metropolitan area, including the airport • Maintain field service logs, filing systems, and job files • Conduct customer follow-up calls and drive customer satisfaction • Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field • Provide customer training as required • Respond to emergency and unscheduled service calls within established response times • Complete scheduled maintenance within required deadlines • Document inspections, maintenance, and repair work and submit paperwork promptly • Order, install, and return parts; manage repair-parts cycle time • Maintain accurate inventories of parts and tools • Review logs for open issues and prepare customer reports • Participate in service-sales opportunities and revenue programs • Seek knowledge and support from senior Field Service Technicians • Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment • Assess equipment performance and recommend modifications or improvements • Provide technical support to customers and other service professionals • Participate in site surveys, pilot service activities, meetings, special projects, and report preparation as needed • Maintain technical knowledge of Trace and X-Ray technologies • Build relationships with senior Field Service Technicians and Product Managers • Control and minimize costs while maximizing revenue • Submit expenses, time cards, and administrative tasks within specified timelines • Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies • May supervise others on a project basis

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s Degree, related trade certification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields, or military training in electrical, mechanical, or electronics • More than 3 years of comparative related electrical or mechanical field service work and life experience may substitute for education • Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field • Computer literacy and competency with all programs within MS Office Suite • Aptitude for learning specialized software programs • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, customer service, and telephone skills • Strong customer focus and teamwork orientation • Willingness and ability to travel at short notice • Ability to respond to customer issues at all times • Must pass TSA vetting and a federal background investigation • May require a U.S. Personal Security Clearance • Must be able to lift/carry 80 lbs. • Ability to operate carts, hoists, davit cranes, pallet jacks, or other specified devices • Full-body mobility • Ability to work safely in varied environments and around dangerous industrial equipment • Ability to work overtime, travel, and hours outside Monday-Friday as required • Must comply with U.S. export control and security regulations • Must maintain current technical certifications
