📋 Description

• Edit short-form vertical video content with strong emotional clarity and pacing, creating complete videos from pre-existing footage, interviews, music, and brand assets for social and paid marketing campaigns. • Identify and elevate authentic, vulnerable moments • Deliver final vertical videos and supporting assets optimized for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels • Maintain organized project files and consistent delivery timelines • Use audience insights to improve retention while preserving emotional authenticity • Balance subtlety and restraint with powerful storytelling choices

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional editing experience with a strong storytelling portfolio; YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or Instagram Reels strongly preferred • Experience editing content for social media campaigns, paid marketing, or performance-driven content • Demonstrated ability to craft emotionally resonant short-form or narrative content • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable tools • Strong understanding of pacing, tone, and narrative structure for vertical video • Excellent taste and restraint in music and editorial choices • Detail-oriented with a high bar for polish and emotional authenticity • Comfortable working independently in a remote production environment • Bonus: Background in documentary, nonprofit, or purpose-driven media • Experience creating ad-style edits or performance-driven social content • Experience working with brand guidelines and structured asset libraries • Experience editing content involving sensitive or personal topics • Strong intuition for music selection and sound design that supports emotional storytelling
