• Develop sales activities for Critical Power UPS/STS products through prospecting and customer visits. • Actively approach potential customers and analyze the market by gathering customer insights to generate leads, build a strong pipeline, and secure new contracts. • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers at both operational and strategic levels. • Provide expert advice on technical solutions and successfully translate customer needs into SOCOMEC solutions. • Build and manage an opportunity funnel (quotation portfolio). • Maintain and expand the customer database within targeted market segments. • Lead contract negotiations, involving management when necessary. • Ensure strong collaboration to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction in your assigned region. • Monitor competitors' pricing strategies, technology developments, and marketing actions. • Work closely with the local team in Houten and international teams in France and Italy.
• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or a similar role selling engineered power and electrical solutions. • Technical sales and project-based selling within the electrical industry such as UPS Systems, power quality, power distribution, battery management systems, power inverters, energy storage, static transfer systems (STS), SNMP, transformers, generators, switchgear or similar. • Knowledge of the data centre industry and UPS Systems market is a plus. • UPS Engineer or technical electrical engineer in the critical power sector looking for progression into sales are encouraged to apply. • A technical electrical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous. • Willingness to commute across Netherlands developing new business sales for Critical Power, UPS/STS products via prospecting and customer visits. • Fully Dutch speaking is essential.
