📋 Description

• Run invoice processing, month-end reporting, payroll data preparation, expense management, and intercompany recharges • Learn, run, and own core finance processes across three entities, two currencies, and three accounting systems • Automate finance processes using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, the Soda MCP, or advanced spreadsheet solutions • Build reconciliations and controls into automations to verify outputs • Document processes for colleagues and AI agents • Support reporting, analysis, and ad-hoc projects across Belgian and US entities

🎯 Requirements

• Studying towards or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field • Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) and/or building automations, scripts, or advanced spreadsheet solutions • Ability to demonstrate how automation output was checked • Strong accuracy and verification habits • Ability to learn GitHub, MCP-based integrations, and finance systems independently • Proactive approach to identifying and automating manual work • Fluent English, written and spoken • Availability during European business hours • Fully remote from any compatible time zone, or hybrid if near Amsterdam • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Exact Online, QuickBooks) or ERP systems is a plus • Exposure to Python, SQL, or API-based automation is a plus • Prior startup or fast-paced work experience is a plus
