📋 Description

• Lead frontend work in a TypeScript/Angular application with Storybook-driven components and Cypress e2e coverage • Own the user experience end-to-end, from component architecture and state management to API shape • Build complex, data-dense dashboards, monitoring views, large tables, diffs, and drill-downs • Drive component architecture, state management, frontend performance, and responsive design • Build with the component library and Storybook while maintaining a coherent design system • Write tests at every layer and maintain a meaningful Cypress e2e suite • Build interfaces for agentic, LLM-powered workflows • Improve frontend systems, conventions, Storybook coverage, and tests for agentic development • Shape consumed APIs and implement Java backend changes when needed • Mentor backend-focused engineers on frontend development • Collaborate directly with product, design, and customers to determine what to build

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building frontend for real products, including complex single-page applications with real users • Expert TypeScript and deep experience with a modern framework; Angular preferred, with strong React/Vue engineers welcome to work in Angular • Experience with component architecture, state management, rendering performance, responsive design, and visual detail • Experience writing tests at every layer, including e2e tests with Cypress or Playwright • Ability to read and modify Java services • Ability to design APIs from the consumer’s perspective • Competent SQL skills • Understanding of how API shape affects round-trips, data flow, and perceived UI latency • Production experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar • Ability to work independently in a distributed, async team across 12+ countries • Fluent English • Preferred: data-heavy or developer-tool products, data visualization, monitoring, or analytics UIs • Preferred: design-system or component-library ownership • Preferred: multi-tenant SaaS at scale or high-growth startup experience • Preferred: Python experience • Preferred: shipped agentic workflows, LLM-powered features, tool-using agents, or AI-driven automation • Preferred: data quality, data management, data observability, or ML monitoring industry experience
