📋 Description

• Policy Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on public policy proposals to assess their potential impact. Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. • Information Management & Intelligence: Manage on-demand requests for policy-related information from SoFi executives across the organization. Provide ongoing intelligence on the policy landscape and tracking. • Executive Briefing & Support: Develop clear, concise, and impactful briefing materials for senior executives in preparation for engagements with policymakers and other key stakeholders. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a central point of contact for internal inquiries, collaborating effectively with legal, compliance, and various business units to ensure timely responses and insight. • Operations: Take ownership of all Policy and Government Affairs back-office operations, including budget management, consultant onboarding, and oversight of external consultant contracts and their deliverables. Support the timely filings of lobbying disclosures for SoFi and work to identify and implement efficiencies to streamline team workflows. • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Lead the tracking of programmatic success metrics and performance objectives for the Policy and Government Affairs program. You'll support the Director in developing key metrics and ensure clear visibility into our impact and progress for the business.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive experience in a research, analysis, operations, or project management role, ideally within a public policy, government affairs, regulatory affairs, or legal program. • Demonstrated expertise in conducting thorough research, analyzing complex information, and synthesizing findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights. • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a proven track record of managing budgets, overseeing contracts and deliverables, and effectively handling multiple concurrent projects. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a particular emphasis on developing professional, impactful reports, briefing materials, and executive summaries. • Adept at managing information flow, responding to on-demand requests, and delivering timely, accurate intelligence to senior stakeholders. • High degree of self-motivation, curiosity, proactivity, and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment. • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
