📋 Description

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby code. • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend features. • Lead the backend area, making technical decisions and guiding best practices. • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance). • Rigorously apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) to every deliverable. • Integrate and leverage AI throughout the development process: reasoning and solution design. • Generate and refactor code. • Design and automate tests. • Debug and optimize performance. • Follow and promote best practices: unit testing, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards. • Drive adoption of new technologies within the stack when they add value. • Be available and actively collaborate during product incidents or customer support when necessary. • Give and receive constructive feedback, challenging others with kindness and technical rigor.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer (ideally mid-senior or senior level). • 2 to 5 years of software development experience. • Strong experience in system design and application architecture. • Practical knowledge of NoSQL databases. • Experience in Full Stack development (although the focus is Backend, understanding of Frontend is valued). • Proficiency with AI tools and workflows for development: prompt engineering. • Experience generating and refactoring code. • Support for testing and validation. • Experience applying TDD and engineering best practices (unit testing, CI, refactoring, code standards). • Familiarity with and use of agile methodologies (SCRUM). • Ability to use Cloud Code (includes a recorded technical test).
