📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve Ruby on Rails services powering the iGaming platform • Develop high-throughput APIs, payment and wallet flows, real-time game integrations, and back-office tooling • Use coding assistants and AI agents for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and code review while owning the quality of merged code • Integrate LLM-based features into the product, including fraud and risk signals, player-support automation, content generation, and internal analytics copilots • Profile hot paths and tune PostgreSQL queries • Design caching and background-processing strategies • Drive incidents to root cause and own performance and reliability • Review human- and AI-written code • Mentor mid-level engineers and help set responsible AI usage standards • Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and cross-team initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial Ruby on Rails experience • Deep understanding of Ruby internals, Rails conventions and where to break them • Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including indexing, query planning, and migrations on large tables without downtime • Solid understanding of distributed-system fundamentals, including message queues, idempotency, eventual consistency, background jobs, and caching • Experience with Sidekiq or similar background-job systems • Experience with Redis • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools in day-to-day work • Ability to evaluate and verify AI-generated code and critically read and write tests • Experience designing and consuming REST and/or gRPC APIs • Familiarity with OpenAPI • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker • Comfortable reading Kubernetes manifests and logs • Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus/Grafana, Sentry, or OpenTelemetry • English at B2 or higher • Ability to take responsibility for architecture, edge cases, production behavior, and code quality
