📋 Description

• Work within a fully agile environment, collaborating with senior engineers while owning tasks independently • Review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications with BAs and developers to ensure testability, clarity, and early bug prevention • Perform comprehensive testing of new features, including manual testing • Develop automated test scenarios using Gherkin syntax and the existing automation framework • Create and maintain QA documentation for the team • Collaborate with other products regarding functionality of implemented solutions • Validate data accuracy and pipeline reliability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance • Strong understanding of test design techniques to ensure optimal test coverage • Solid knowledge of any programming language (Java, C#, Python, or Typescript) • Strong understanding of SQL; ability to write complex SQL queries (joins, aggregations, groupings) for deep-level data validation • Professional experience with Spark and Spark SQL (Spark jobs, DataFrames/Datasets, data querying) • Experience with Delta Lake or/and with any of its implementations • Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) concepts and hands-on experience with frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar • Strong knowledge of Git (branching, merging, rebasing, resolving conflicts) • Good understanding of containerization (running, inspecting and troubleshooting) • Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or specialized QA agents) to accelerate test case generation, bug analysis, and script writing • B1+ proficiency in both English and Russian • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for data discrepancies • Basic knowledge of Scala programming language • Experience with Apache Airflow • Basic experience with Apache Kafka for testing event-driven systems • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar), including interpreting pipeline failures • Ability to write and interpret Bash scripts for task automation and environment setup • Familiarity with AI Agents, Skills, and MCP • Experience integrating AI capabilities into testing workflows to improve efficiency
