📋 Description
• Act as the bridge between business and technology data‑sharing and API‑driven platform, ensuring requirements are clear, actionable, and aligned with client and regulatory needs. • Translate complex data‑exchange scenarios into user stories with precise acceptance criteria, maintaining a well‑prioritized backlog. • Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, and Architecture to refine stories around API estate, roles & permissions, and secure data flows. • Document and validate API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger), interface contracts, and integration patterns that underpin connectivity with accounting platforms and financial institutions. • Support UAT and trace requirements through build and test, ensuring delivery meets compliance and business value. • Facilitate workshops with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify scope, dependencies, and success metrics.
🎯 Requirements
• 3–5+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Owner on data‑focused platforms, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or API‑integration environments. • Proven ability to create and refine user stories and manage backlog ceremonies in Agile/Scrum teams (Jira). • Hands‑on experience with API design and consumption: request/response modelling, versioning, and non‑functional considerations (security, scalability, resilience). • Familiarity with roles & permissions frameworks (RBAC/ABAC), OAuth2/OIDC, and secure data‑exchange principles. • Strong understanding of data fundamentals: data mapping, validation, and practical SQL for troubleshooting and analysis. • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, requirements elicitation, and documentation using Confluence. • Experience in financial data integration, accounting platform connectivity, or API ecosystems. • Knowledge of security and compliance standards relevant to financial data (GDPR, SOC, ISO). • Familiarity with event‑driven architectures, webhooks, and integration styles beyond REST. • Tooling proficiency: Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, JSON/XML, and diagramming tools. • Ability to design acceptance test scenarios and collaborate closely with QA for coverage and traceability.
