📋 Description

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python • Build scalable solutions for processing, integrating and transforming large datasets • Contribute to cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code • Collaborate with engineers on system design, data modelling and platform improvements • Improve software quality through code reviews, automated testing and mentoring less experienced developers • Build and evolve a proprietary data platform processing large volumes of cybersecurity data • Support scalable data ingestion, high-performance APIs and event-driven data processing for cyber-risk management products

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Python development • Strong experience building backend applications and REST APIs • Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines • Experience building data-intensive applications or working with large-scale data processing • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing and clean code principles • Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and distributed systems • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) • Comfortable working in Linux-based development environments
