📋 Description

• Join the ServiceNow team building a new platform for a Dutch provider of cloud services to the public sector • Own day-to-day platform operations, including incidents, service requests, access and role administration, configuration changes and Service Portal maintenance • Work to contractual SLAs • Own technical access control, including role and group models, ACL design and implementation, and periodic access reviews • Operate integrations by monitoring, troubleshooting and repairing running integrations • Specify changes when fixes require design changes rather than configuration changes • Maintain CMDB data quality and the CI class model • Act as technical authority for operational change by assessing impact, deciding whether to configure or customize, and protecting out-of-the-box integrity • Reverse-engineer undocumented legacy configuration and document it • Run platform lifecycle work, including upgrades, patching, update set promotion and ServiceNow vendor cases • Work independently with client stakeholders and turn operational issues into actionable decisions • Manage LDAP and AD synchronization, user and group imports, role and group models, ACL implementation and periodic access reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Valid ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) • Valid Certified Data Foundations certification • Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including at least 2 years with technical ownership of a production instance • Ability to read, debug and modify Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts and flows written by others • JavaScript and GlideRecord skills sufficient for writing and debugging • Hands-on RBAC configuration: role and group model, ACLs, user criteria, delegated administration and access reviews • LDAP and AD synchronization and data imports, including import sets, transform maps, scheduled imports, coalescing rules and troubleshooting failed loads • Knowledge of CMDB class model, CI relationships and data quality • Functional knowledge of REST and SOAP interfaces, IntegrationHub and MID Server • Ability to diagnose failing integrations and provide precise specifications to developers • Service Portal configuration and maintenance, including portal pages, widgets and catalogue presentation • Fluent English • Ability to hold a technical position in front of client stakeholders
