📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional service to a major customer in the grain processing and chemical manufacturing industry • Take a hands-on, customer-centric approach to supporting operations by providing technical service and expertise in cooling water and boiler applications • Ensure Solenis chemical treatment programs operate effectively, meeting customer expectations, optimizing system performance, and complying with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements • Sample and test cooling and boiler water systems, recording results accurately • Investigate, troubleshoot, and rectify out-of-specification results • Inspect, maintain, clean, and calibrate chemical dosing and monitoring equipment • Collect and dispatch biological samples for laboratory analysis • Perform cooling tower disinfection and decontamination activities • Install and replace corrosion coupons as required • Reprogram equipment and carry out manual chemical dosing when necessary • Maintain high housekeeping standards and safe work practices • Monitor and maintain adequate chemical stock levels

• Strong commitment to working safely with the ability to identify workplace hazards • Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills • Understanding of basic chemistry concepts and their application or ability to learn • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities • Self-motivated with the ability to manage and prioritize workload independently • Comfortable performing routine and repetitive tasks with consistency • Proficient in using computers and digital systems • High attention to detail and accuracy • Effective verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships • Valid driver's license • Trade qualification or a degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related field is highly desirable
