âą Assess, design, and manage comprehensive microbiocide treatment programs for paper mills âą Independently analyze complex operational issues related to microbiological contamination âą Conduct on-site audits, water analysis, microscopy analysis, and ATP/ORP monitoring âą Recommend and implement optimized biocide strategies âą Provide high-level technical consultation to clients âą Ensure all biocide applications adhere to environmental safety regulations âą Train junior specialists, prepare detailed technical reports, and lead technical presentations for customers
âą Minimum of a Bachelorâs degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or Pulp & Paper Science âą Generally, requires 10+ years of experience in the pulp and paper industry âą Expert-level understanding of microbiological contamination in papermaking âą Proven capability to handle diverse and unusual technical problems âą Strong ability to communicate technical findings to non-expert audiences âą Willingness to travel (50% or more) to customer paper machine sites
