📋 Description

• Administer and support Jira Software, Jira Service Management and Confluence across Cloud and Data Center/on-premises environments • Manage projects and spaces, schemes, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, notifications, issue types, service portals, queues, SLAs and knowledge bases • Maintain platform health through monitoring, housekeeping, indexing, log review, capacity planning and proactive remediation • Manage user access, groups, roles and administrative privileges according to least-privilege and segregation-of-duties principles • Own the administration and lifecycle of Marketplace applications, including evaluation, licensing, compatibility testing, upgrades and removal • Maintain platform documentation, configuration records, runbooks, support procedures and technical standards • Define and enforce standards for project, space and repository creation, naming, ownership, permissions, retention and archiving • Partner with Cybersecurity, Risk, Privacy and Internal Audit teams to implement platform controls and provide evidence for reviews and audits • Support SAML-based single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, SCIM provisioning and directory services including Entra ID/Active Directory or LDAP • Review administrative access, external sharing, anonymous access, application permissions and data exposure risks • Coordinate vulnerability remediation, security patches, certificates, platform hardening and supported-version compliance • Design and maintain automation rules, forms, templates, dashboards, filters and reports • Build and support integrations using native connectors, webhooks and REST APIs • Use approved scripting or Atlassian applications such as Script Runner for controlled extensions • Analyze platform usage, performance, licensing and support trends and recommend optimization and cost-control opportunities • Plan, test and deliver upgrades, patches, application updates, configuration changes and migrations using formal change-management practices • Support migrations and consolidations between Cloud and Data Center/on-premises instances • Maintain backup, restore and disaster-recovery arrangements and participate in recovery testing • Coordinate with infrastructure, database, network and vendor teams for hosting, performance, resilience and incident resolution • Manage incidents and service requests within agreed service levels and lead root-cause analysis for recurring issues • Advise engineering, IT, product, project-management and business teams • Provide guidance, training and self-service materials to administrators, owners, service teams and end users • Coordinate with Atlassian and third-party vendors on licensing, support cases, product changes and technical escalations

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience administering enterprise Atlassian environments, particularly Jira and Confluence • Experience supporting both Atlassian Cloud and Data Center/on-premises deployments in a complex or global organization • Deep understanding of Jira configuration, including workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, automation, dashboards and reporting • Practical knowledge of Confluence space administration, permissions, templates, content governance and lifecycle management • Experience with identity and access management, SSO, SAML, SCIM, directory integration and role-based access control • Experience planning and executing upgrades, migrations, application changes and technical releases in controlled production environments • Ability to troubleshoot across application, operating system, database, proxy, network and authentication layers • Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks and at least one scripting language such as Groovy, Python or PowerShell • Strong documentation, analytical, stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to balance usability, control and maintainability • Atlassian certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise in Jira administration or Atlassian Cloud/Data Center operations • Experience with Jira Service Management capabilities such as Assets, forms, virtual agent, service catalogues, SLAs and knowledge management • Experience with Atlassian Guard, organization administration, cloud security policies and managed accounts • Experience with Linux, SQL databases, reverse proxies, TLS certificates, clustering, load balancing and high-availability architectures • Experience administering common Marketplace applications and managing application rationalization or license optimization • ITIL, Agile, DevOps or formal change-management experience
