📋 Description

• Build and optimize data systems that power product insights and decision-making • Work with analysts, product managers, and engineers to design scalable pipelines • Improve data infrastructure and make reliable data accessible across teams • Gather data from databases, APIs, event tracking tools such as PostHog, and spreadsheets • Ensure collected data is accurate, complete, and relevant to business questions • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT processes for multiple data sources • Manage and improve data infrastructure using GCP and modern cloud services • Automate data workflows, monitoring, and quality checks • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability across systems • Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams from ingestion through analysis • Ensure data is secure, well-documented, and accessible • Help shape the technical direction and working practices of the growing Data team • Connect on-chain and off-chain data into a coherent user model • Optimize pipeline performance and query costs for growing on-chain data volumes

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role dealing with large-scale data systems • Proficiency in Python, especially for building data processing pipelines • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools, preferably dbt, and data orchestration • Experience with modern data warehouse technologies such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar • Strong SQL skills • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Practical experience with cloud services, preferably GCP, for data storage, compute, and orchestration • Familiarity with Git and data CI/CD workflows for versioned, testable data deployments • Experience integrating AI tools such as Claude Code into an engineering workflow • Solid experience using Excel or Google Sheets for quick analysis and pivot tables • Nice to have: fintech, banking, insurance, or Web3 industry experience • Nice to have: experience processing on-chain data using sources such as Dune or Solscan • Ability to collaborate with analytics and engineering teams • Problem-solving, initiative, adaptability, teamwork, ownership mindset
