• Develop and maintain integrated Scientific Communication Platforms (SCPs) across all programs. • Translate scientific and clinical data into compelling, evidence-based scientific narratives. • Ensure consistency of messaging across publications, congresses, medical education, and stakeholder engagements. • Partner with cross-functional teams to align scientific and business priorities. • Lead global publication planning processes across the portfolio. • Develop annual and multi-year publication strategies aligned with development milestones. • Oversee manuscript, abstract, poster, and oral presentation development. • Manage publication agencies, medical writers, and external vendors. • Ensure adherence to ICMJE, GPP, and publication ethics standards. • Lead scientific congress planning and content strategy. • Coordinate development of congress materials and scientific presentations. • Support advisory boards, investigator meetings, and scientific exchange activities. • Develop scientific narratives that communicate the differentiated value of Solid’s platforms and programs. • Support preparation of scientific materials for internal and external stakeholders. • Partner with Medical Affairs leadership to articulate evidence-generation strategies and scientific leadership goals.
• Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) • 8–12+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Publications, or Clinical Development • Demonstrated expertise in publication planning, scientific narrative development, and SCP creation • Strong understanding of rare disease and gene therapy environments preferred • Excellent written, verbal, and strategic communication skills.
