📋 Description
• Symmetrio is recruiting for a Business Continuity Consultant to support a large food manufacturing organization. • Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise-wide crisis management and business continuity programs. • Develop and implement crisis management protocols, including incident response plans and communication strategies. • Identify critical business functions, assess potential risks, and develop tailored preparedness plans. • Define documentation and reporting standards for risk assessments, recovery strategies, and incident response. • Partner with IT Disaster Recovery teams to develop an integrated approach to business continuity. • Plan, conduct, and evaluate disaster recovery exercises to test the effectiveness of existing plans. • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on business continuity roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or crisis management. • Proven track record of developing and implementing enterprise-level business continuity strategies. • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure situations. • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. • Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field. • Experience in the food manufacturing industry. • Professional certification in business continuity (or willingness to obtain within one year): • Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII): ABCP, CBCP, or MBCP • Business Continuity Institute (BCI): CBCI or MBCI
