📋 Description
• As Technical Director at Somnio Software, you will ensure technical excellence across the organization. • You’ll support growth of senior engineering talent and align technology decisions with strategic goals. • You’ll act as a cross-functional technical leader, advocating best practices, quality standards, and collaboration. • Help build world-class digital experiences with modern technologies. • Lead and mentor Tech Leads; set technical direction; promote development best practices; support architectural decisions and planning. • Participate in internal initiatives (Somnio talks, knowledge hubs, improvement programs, tech communities). • Drive technical excellence in recruitment by empowering senior engineers as interviewers. • Define and evolve the tech roadmap with the CTO; assess emerging technologies; identify opportunities for innovation aligned with business value. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure technology supports product and client needs. • Remote/hybrid work with flexible schedule; commitment to career growth and a culture of continuous learning at Somnio Software.
🎯 Requirements
• 15+ years in software development, with a minimum of 3+ years in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Architect, Head of Engineering). • Strong knowledge of software architecture, scalability, security, and agile methodologies. • Experience in a consulting or client-facing role, with demonstrated ability to advise senior stakeholders. • Mentoring senior engineers and other leaders, with experience driving performance reviews. • Business development exposure, such as assisting with technical proposals or discovery calls. • Cloud experience with Google Cloud (GCP), AWS, or Azure. • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken). • Nice to have: Professional experience with AI Engineering.
