📋 Description
• Manage the accounting and reporting for APAC entities. • Provide payroll, tax, month-end, and year-end support to APAC entities. • Accountable for the entity financial records and all local statutory and tax compliance. • Review and assess effectiveness of internal controls, accounting standards, and compliance with local regulations. • Maintain GL, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. • Collaborate with tax and treasury for accurate reporting. • Prepare local financial statements and manage audit processes. • Review balance sheet and income statements for discrepancies.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong financial accounting experience under IFRS • Strong all-round compliance and tax knowledge • Strong controls experience • Great team collaboration • Regional experience and curiosity to learn about all aspects of reporting in their region/regions • Able to work with auditors • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration • 5-7 years of finance experience • Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote, high-growth environment where priorities can change and teams are located in multiple time zones • Proactive, go-getter attitude • Attention to detail – No task is too small for you to roll your sleeves up • Comfortable with ambiguity - You have a demonstrated ability to operate in a world of ambiguity • Curiosity – You may not have all the answers; however, you demonstrate a curious mindset that wants to fully understand the project at hand.
